Meet the Team
Lisa La Russo has been providing emergency health care, as a paramedic, to citizens since 1990. Along with being an EMS instructor & Paramedic preceptor, Lisa has written and implemented several training programs. She has past experience in not only for caring for children and adults in the communities in which she serves, but also has experience in changing health care related protocol and enacting positive change to the health and betterment of all that she serves. Lisa is also the author of our book "Toby the Dolphin and Water Safety".

Amanda Nestra has been providing emergency healthcare to the public since 2003. She currently works as a paramedic at a private ambulance company in Riverside County. She has responded to several drownings that have motivated her to become a part of this organization. As a mother of two small children, she hopes to encourage the public to be proactive when it comes to drowning prevention.

Ashley LaRusso develops and implements digital marketing strategies and coordinates events to support the organization’s mission. With a Master’s in Marketing and a Digital Marketing Specialization, Ashley excels in creating impactful online content and engaging community events. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and passion for connecting with others make her a key contributor to Splash Medics’ success.
